About Techland
We are a developer and publisher of computer and video games, founded in Poland in 1991. We employ over 500 people across game development, publishing, and creating our own multi-platform game engines.
Our first game, Crime Cities, was released in 2000. Since then, we’ve developed and published several titles, including the Call of Juarez series (first released 2006, sold 4 million units by 2013) and the Dead Island series (first released 2011, sold 13 million units by 2013).
The Dying Light franchise launched in 2015, followed by the expansion The Following in 2016, and Dying Light 2 Stay Human in 2022. By 2016, the Dying Light franchise had 16 million players worldwide, and Dying Light 2 Stay Human hit almost 275,000 concurrent players on Steam.
