About the role
The Finance Operations Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the organization’s day-to-day financial activities. This position is responsible for validating operational financial data, ensuring policy compliance, and assisting with accurate and timely financial processing. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and able to collaborate effectively across teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and validate team timesheets and reported working hours to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Monitor employee expense submissions, verify supporting documentation, and ensure adherence to company policies.
Review contractor invoices prior to approval and payment, resolving discrepancies as needed.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records related to financial operations, reimbursements, and payments.
Collaborate closely with the finance team to support timely and precise payment processing.
Assist in identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance financial reporting and expense control.
Support ad-hoc financial tasks, audits, and reporting as required.
Requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (or
equivalent experience).
Experience in financial operations, accounts payable, or similar roles preferred.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Proficiency with spreadsheets and financial software/tools.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
