About Texas Health Action
We are a 501©(3) non-profit founded in 2015. We provide culturally affirming, quality health services in a safe, supportive environment for LGBTQIA+ people and individuals impacted by HIV. Since 2015, we have offered health services without stigma or judgment, empowering the community through outreach and education.
Our program, the Kind Clinic, offers sexual health services to Central Texans. These services include PrEP (pre-exposure prophylaxis) and PEP (post-exposure prophylaxis) access, testing and treatment for sexually transmitted infections (STIs), HIV testing, and gender-affirming care. The Kind Clinic makes these services available to all LGBTQIA+ community members and allies, regardless of race, creed, gender expression, or sexual orientation. We offer PrEP & PEP medical services, gender care, and no-cost health care options.
We also manage patient records, including data migration projects that transfer sensitive health information between Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, always ensuring HIPAA compliance and data security.
