International expansion is a critical growth engine for Toast’s future. Outside the US, we currently operate in Canada, UK, Ireland, and Australia and are actively growing our market share. Integration partnerships are a key part of our strategy to ensure that restaurants of all sizes can retain the parts of their tech stack outside of the Toast platform. We are seeking a Product leader to own the product strategy and roadmap for international partners. This role will drive strategic partner projects with a focus on winning and retaining more SMB, Regional Mid Market, and Mid Market restaurants. You will work closely with engineering, business development, operations, and marketing partners to deliver innovative, reliable, and scalable capabilities that support Toast’s growing partner ecosystem. In this highly visible role, you will have a direct impact on how Toast serves customers in new markets
A day in the life (Responsibilities)
- Define, prioritize, and deliver an integration partner roadmap initiatives that improve the value proposition of Toast across both existing markets
- Champion field research & validation: Spend time with customers in all markets to learn which partners support various operational workflows, understand pain points, and iterate on improvements.
- Partner closely with Business Development, Sales, Customer Success, Legal, and Dev Rel to prioritise the right integrations and ensure a smooth post-integration onboarding experience for customers.
- Develop and track key metrics and KPIs to ensure seamless ongoing performance of partners in all markets
- Align Engineering, Security, Data, Research, Design, Care/Onboarding, and GTM partners to de-risk delivery and adoption of new partners
- Work closely with business development and market teams to build Toast’s integration coverage strategy in each market and participate in negotiation of partner contracts balancing commercial and strategic considerations to drive long-term ecosystem value.
Do you have the right ingredients? (Requirements)
- ~8+ years shipping complex software products with demonstrated ownership of multi-team programs or a major product portfolio
- Proven track record taking a product from discovery through prototype and pilot to scale.
- Exemplary stakeholder management and ability to align external partners and internal stakeholders, especially on high-visibility initiatives.
- Communication & influence. Clear, persuasive written and verbal communication; able to synthesize technical tradeoffs and business value for executives and partners.
- At least Bachelors degree required.

The base salary range for this role is listed below. The starting salary will be determined based on skills, experience, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, our total rewards components include cash compensation (overtime, bonus/commissions if eligible), equity, and benefits.
