We are a quantitative trading firm, founded in 1998. We use a high-performance platform to help independent trading teams find market opportunities across different time horizons, markets, and asset classes. We invest heavily in market access, data, research, compute infrastructure, risk management, compliance, and business support. Dozens of trading and research teams and systematic portfolio managers work with us. They build strategies independently and benefit from our scale. Our engineers develop high-performance systems. They continuously invest in data platforms, machine learning, low-latency programming, and electronic trading infrastructure. This includes working with low-latency networking, FPGA-based systems, Ethernet communication stacks, hardware and software interfaces, and connections to global exchanges to get data quickly. We also design and implement low-latency high-frequency trading platforms, quote and order dissemination, tick-by-tick backtesting research platforms, and tools for historical market data and trading simulations. Our team optimizes large-scale parallel computations and improves machine learning algorithms. Our support functions handle risk management for equity statistical arbitrage and delta-one strategies, legal and compliance for electronic trading and regulatory matters, and tax reporting and transfer pricing. Our Testing and Automation Group develops and maintains automated testing frameworks and CI pipelines.
