About Trifecta
We are a proprietary investment firm founded in 2008. We invest our own capital from our balance sheet, not funds from Limited Partners (LPs). This means we don’t have fund lifecycle restrictions or pressure to force entrepreneurs into early exits. Our structure lets us focus entirely on supporting entrepreneurs.
We invest directly in seed and pre-seed businesses, and also act as an LP in emerging early-stage fund managers. As of January 2026, we hold 59 investments. Since our first 100,000 EUR investment in 2008, we’ve achieved a net IRR of 44.6%. In 2025, new investments totaled $8.3M.
Our portfolio includes businesses like an aluminum luggage manufacturer, a health-focused energy drink company, a venture studio, an AI-powered romance novel publisher, a Portuguese jeweler, a British sparkling tea brand, an upsell offers platform, a design factory, a hedge fund, Europe’s largest Gen Z-run VC, a Canadian summer brand, an animal-free dairy products company, a star map creator, and a subscription business for Scandinavian designed razors.
Our investment process happens in three stages:
- Getting to know you (1-3 days): We start with phone or video calls, and sometimes meet in person for 2-3 days to see if we’re a good fit and how we can help.
- Getting to know your business (1-10 days): We look at internal metrics or market studies and do light due diligence.
- Offer and paperwork (3-30 days): We aim to make an offer and complete paperwork quickly to minimize fundraising distractions for entrepreneurs.
