We are a global identity network that uses facial biometrics, artificial intelligence, and enhanced security to verify identities. Our services validate identities and assess related risks to fight fraud, protect data, and build trust between people and companies.

We operate in over 20 countries, serving 165 million users and performing more than 1 billion identity verifications each year. Our solutions are used by large companies, banks, fintechs, telcos, and e-commerce businesses. In 2023, we prevented $14 billion USD in identity fraud. Fast Company recognized us as one of the most innovative companies in Latin America for our projects in 2024.

Founded in 2007, we work in IT services and consulting. Our investors include SoftBank, General Atlantic, and Goldman Sachs.

Unico has between 501 and 1000 employees, who we call ‘Seres’. We work remotely first, with optional office locations in São Paulo and Londrina. Flexible work schedules are available, for instance, for days with calls across different time zones.
