Remote E-commerce & Digital Marketing Lead

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Remote E-commerce & Digital Marketing Lead to help manage and grow a premium home goods brand as it expands its online presence and begins investing in digital advertising.

The company currently sells products through Shopify and offers home and lifestyle items including mattresses, sheets, towels, cashmere bedding, accessories, and candles. The current website was originally built on Webflow, and the business is now looking for a hands-on lead who can guide the e-commerce strategy, improve the online customer experience, and help drive qualified traffic and sales.

This is a great opportunity for someone with real experience growing e-commerce brands, especially in home goods, lifestyle, luxury products, bedding, furniture, interiors, or related consumer product categories.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and optimize the Shopify e-commerce platform.
  • Guide the overall e-commerce growth strategy, including site experience, product organization, merchandising, and conversion improvements.
  • Review and improve product pages, collections, navigation, checkout flow, and customer journey.
  • Plan, launch, and manage Google Ads campaigns, including Search, Shopping, and Performance Max.
  • Support SEO strategy to improve organic visibility and reduce brand confusion with similarly named businesses.
  • Analyze website traffic, campaign performance, conversion rates, and sales data to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to increase qualified traffic, online sales, and brand visibility.
  • Coordinate with designers, developers, copywriters, or external vendors when needed.
  • Help establish best practices for product listings, content, promotions, advertising, and ongoing e-commerce operations.
  • Provide clear guidance and reporting to leadership on what is working, what needs improvement, and next steps.

Proven experience managing and growing Shopify e-commerce stores.

Strong experience with Google Ads, especially Google Search, Google Shopping, and/or Performance Max campaigns.

Solid understanding of SEO, keyword optimization, and brand search strategy.

Experience with conversion rate optimization, site merchandising, and e-commerce analytics.

Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Shopify analytics, and paid media reporting.

Experience presenting recommendations directly to leadership.

Ability to take ownership of the e-commerce channel and provide strategic guidance, not only task execution.

Experience in DTC, home goods, bedding, furniture, lifestyle, luxury, interiors, or consumer product brands is highly preferred.

Experience with Webflow, Klaviyo, Meta Ads, email marketing, or creative direction is a plus.
