Founded in 2019, we are a technology company in biotechnology research. We use large-scale data and AI-powered computation to discover and develop drugs. Our goal is to integrate human data throughout the entire drug development life cycle, speeding up the process and cutting costs. Our Opal Computational Platform™ is an end-to-end system that turns data into insights, helping us move programs forward in areas like cardiovascular metabolic renal, oncology, and neurodegenerative disease.

We combine real-world data, AI, advanced causal inference, and predictive chemistry. Our method, called AI-enabled human causal biology, uses AI/ML, causal inference, and statistical genetics to find disease targets from large-scale human data and validate them in human tissue. We also use closed-loop chemistry, which integrates modeling and lab work. This helps us quickly find and refine new compounds. Our models are updated after each experiment to balance the properties needed to create promising drug candidates. We work at the intersection of science, technology, and medicine, with AI guiding our strategy. We also develop AI-enabled patient data products from real-world data for our own use and for partnerships.
