Please note that we are only able to offer the position to active students currently enrolled at a German university.
We are looking for working students for a minimum of 1 year.
This position is available in a Hybrid setup in our Berlin office (at Alexanderplatz).
What You Will Do
Act as the first point of contact for the shared accounting inbox, reviewing, categorizing, and assigning emails to the correct entities or teams
Manage and follow up on incoming accounting queries to ensure timely and accurate communication
Support basic Accounts Payable tasks, including invoice processing, expense claims, and payment preparation
Assist with vendor master data maintenance, ensuring accuracy and completeness
Help with account reconciliations and clearing of open items
Support intercompany transactions and basic reconciliations
Assist with month-end close activities across AP and GL
Contribute to weekly cash planning by preparing relevant input data
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve accounting-related questions
Support ad-hoc administrative and accounting tasks as needed
Requirements
What You Will Bring
Must-haves:
Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Finance & Accounting or Business Administration completed or in process
Professional level of written and spoken English
Knowledge and experience with MS Excel
Self-motivated and with a keen interest to learn and develop
Friendly, positive attitude and ‘can-do’ mindset
Strong attention to detail
Strong advantage:
Previous accounting experience
Experience working with an ERP system
German language skills
