Business Intelligence Analyst

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Business Intelligence team in Perth and are currently looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst to join the team.
Shine a light on player behaviour and product performance to help build a centralised, long-term reporting foundation for our growing business.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Identifying and defining key metrics: Work closely with stakeholders like the Head of Product Analytics to understand their questions and formally document the metrics and calculations needed to answer them.
- Building foundational reporting: Scope available data and build centralised reporting that provides deep insights into player behaviors, such as conversion funnels and user interactions.
- Supporting innovative data tools: Play a key role in validating data and queries for Snowflake Intelligence, our evolving LLM tool for data exploration.
- Ensuring reporting relevance: Continually reassess and maintain the scope of work across the business to ensure our metrics remain accurate and impactful as the company grows.
What you will bring to the role:
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar Business Intelligence or Data Analytics role.
- Strong proficiency in reading and writing SQL to interrogate and manipulate data.
- Proven experience in building clear, insightful reports that translate complex data into actionable business information.
- A natural ability to engage with stakeholders to uncover the core analytical questions they need solved.
- Experience with data visualisation tools (like Tableau or Power BI) and an understanding of database design fundamentals are highly regarded.
- Knowledge of Snowflake-specific architecture is desirable.
