Job Description
Our client is a leading provider in the manufacturing and commercial supply industry, known for delivering high-quality products and innovative solutions. They focus on maintaining operational excellence and robust data integrity across their expansive business network.
They are now seeking to hire a Data and Reporting Analyst to support their master data governance, automate recurring reporting, and deliver actionable insights that drive commercial efficiency.
Master Data Management
- Serve as a support resource for master data governance activities within the SAP S4 HANA environment
- Manage and maintain critical master data elements including product master data, business partners, and customer master data
- Support master data cleansing, validation, maintenance, and governance processes to ensure data consistency and accuracy
- Assist in maintaining single source of truth data protocols and data quality standards
Reporting
- Design, develop, maintain, and update recurring reports and dashboards within Power BI and SAP
- Support automated reporting processes and report scheduling
- Assist with data extraction, consolidation, and report automation initiatives
- Work with the Group IT team to transform datasets into clear and user-friendly reports and dashboards
- Prepare and format recurring Excel-based and database-driven reports
Analysis and Insights
Investigate and resolve data discrepancies within SAP systems
Perform reconciliation support and data validation activities
Support analysis preparation through data gathering, consolidation, and formatting
Assist with financial modelling preparation and data consolidation activities
Handle internal data requests and reporting turnaround requirements within agreed timelines
Partner with the business to automate routine reporting processes and improve reporting efficiency
Proven experience working within an SAP S4 HANA environment
Advanced proficiency in Power BI or similar business intelligence and reporting tools
Expert-level Excel skills, including data analysis, reporting, and reconciliation functions
Strong understanding of relational databases, data governance, and master data management principles
Demonstrated experience with data cleansing, validation, and reporting automation processes
High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
Strong organisational and time management capabilities with the ability to meet 48-hour turnaround deadlines
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
Ability to work independently while supporting cross-functional business teams
Previous experience in data management, reporting analysis, finance support, or related analytical roles
Exposure to finance, commercial reporting, or ERP reporting environments
Experience collaborating with IT teams for dataset transformation
