We’re looking for a Senior Legal Counsel who has demonstrated experience leading commercial transactions and possesses a strong background and deep understanding of technology transactions, intellectual property licensing and software-as-a-service (SaaS) agreements. The ideal candidate is a strategic “deal maker” with strong business acumen and the ability to effectively manage risk while enabling business success.
What You’ll Own
- Negotiate and finalize complex transactions – Lead strategic, high-value enterprise contracts, including SaaS agreements, professional services agreements, partner agreements, data processing agreements, nondisclosure agreements, and responses to requests for proposals with international customers and partners.
- Advise and collaborate – Work closely with cross-functional teams (including Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Product, and others) to provide timely, business-oriented legal advice grounded in a deep understanding of WalkMe’s technology and products.
- Manage risk and ensure compliance – Provide legal guidance on contract structures, regulatory requirements, artificial intelligence–related terms and agreements, and data protection matters affecting technology transactions.
- Contribute to legal initiatives – Support ongoing legal projects and drive process improvements within the legal department.
What You Need to Succeed
- A minimum of 7 years of relevant commercial legal experience with a focus on technology transactions, SaaS, and intellectual property licensing, gained in the commercial/high-tech department of a leading law firm or in-house at a technology company (preferably in a high-growth or SaaS environment).
- Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
- Strong business judgment and the ability to balance legal risk with commercial objectives.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, global environment.
- A collaborative, team-oriented approach with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
- Flexibility to work effectively with colleagues and customers across global time zones.

Our job titles may span more than one career level. The OTE for this role is between $215,000 and $250,00 including salary and variables. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: location, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for bonus and benefits as part of our competitive total rewards package.
