As we continue to expand globally, our finance team plays a vital role in driving strategic growth and operational excellence. We are now looking to hire a Senior Finance Manager to join our growing team. This is a pivotal opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and is eager to make an impact on how finance drives strategic decision-making across the business. As the Senior Finance Manager, you will work closely with the Head of Finance and senior leadership to strengthen our financial foundation, drive operational excellence, and support Wati’s continued global expansion.

What you’ll do:

  • Be a business partner to Management and provide insightful financial advice for better and faster decision making.

  • Understand the products and services of the Company, identify accounting issues and provide recommendations.

  • Assist in building the finance infrastructure that best suits the Company.

  • In charge of month-end closing accuracy and enhance efficiency.

  • Work closely with FP&A to support budgeting and forecasting process, as well as MoM/BvA analysis.

  • Review day-to-day financial operations such as invoicing, account payables and accounts receivables.

  • Prepare financial and management reports to senior management and investors.

  • Take the lead in working with auditors and agreeing on issue treatments early, to provide greater confidence in monthly reported numbers.

  • Be prepared to also steer ad-hoc finance transformation projects.

  • 7+ years of overall experience in finance field.

  • Big-4 experience is a bonus.

  • Degree in accounting, economics or commerce, preferably a CPA/equivalent.

  • Comfortable working in a hands-on and startup environment where you are responsible for the compilation of a full set of books.

  • Strong analytical skills and business acumen.

  • Proven project management skills and ability to identify where processes can be strengthened, and successfully drive change and implementation.

  • Strong business partnering skills to work with the business, understand their needs, and ensure you capture their numbers accurately.

  • Have a high level of energy, passion and agility to work in a dynamic and constantly changing environment.

  • Have a strong work ethic and accountability for your work and decisions.

  • Fluency in English and Chinese (plus).
