Based on the West Coast, the Client is beloved for its fearless storytelling, handcrafted artistry, and emotional depth. As the Client expands its marketing and theatrical distribution presence, the studio is building a dedicated paid media team to support its next slate of releases.

About the Role
We Are Rosie is seeking a Client Activation Director, Entertainment to lead and manage the Client’s paid media activation across all channels for the duration of the studio’s 2026 theatrical campaign cycle. This is a senior-level engagement role that requires someone who has operated at the Director level inside a media agency or studio-facing team and can move fast, communicate clearly, and own the relationship day-to-day.
The ideal candidate brings deep experience running theatrical or entertainment campaigns from strategy and kickoff through optimization and reporting, and understands the cadence, pressure, and nuance of working in the studio entertainment space.
Prioritized Responsibilities
Campaign Leadership & Client Management
Serve as the primary day-to-day activation point of contact for the Client’s media investment across all channels
Lead campaign planning, launch, and ongoing optimization for theatrical release campaigns
Own activation timelines, deliverable tracking, and internal reporting cadence
Manage relationships between channel leads (programmatic, search, social) and client stakeholders
Strategy & Execution
Partner with the Client’s marketing team and agency contacts to align on campaign strategy, audience targeting, and messaging priorities
Translate creative briefs and release-window priorities into actionable media activation plans
Oversee cross-channel budget pacing and allocation decisions
Identify and escalate risks, performance gaps, and optimization opportunities in real time
Reporting & Communication
Deliver regular campaign performance updates to senior the Client stakeholders
Synthesize cross-channel reporting into clear executive summaries
Ensure all campaign components are tracked, measured, and tied to theatrical KPIs (awareness, intent, ticket sales)
Qualifications
Qualifications
7+ years of media agency or studio-side experience, with at least 3 years at the Director level
(Required) Hands-on experience managing theatrical or entertainment studio campaigns
Strong cross-channel fluency: paid social, programmatic display/video, paid search, streaming/CTV
Track record of managing complex campaigns across multiple channel leads simultaneously
Clear and confident communicator with experience presenting to senior brand stakeholders
Familiarity with agency structures, tools, and partner ecosystems a strong plus
Ability to start quickly and operate with minimal ramp time
