Senior Business Intelligence Analyst (Contract)

Location: Remote (Must be available for PST hours)
About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to join our cross-agency team. If you are passionate about data hygiene, love building interactive dashboards that actually make an impact, and want to help drive business growth through rigorous analysis, we want to talk to you.
Key Role Information:
- Role: Senior Business Intelligence Analyst
- Duration: 4 months (11/20/26 – 3/31/27)
- Location: Remote (Must be available for PST hours)
- Hours/wk: Part-time to start; transitioning to 40 hours/week in January 2027
- Hourly Rate: TBD (Please include your ideal rate in your application)
What You Will Do
- Strategic Insight: Identify campaign KPIs and develop projections to forecast performance.
- Collaborative Measurement: Partner with digital media, ad operations, and communications teams to ensure robust tracking and measurement methodologies are in place before launch.
- Data Storytelling: Integrate data from disparate platforms to answer the big questions: What’s working? What’s not? And what’s the next move?
- Visualization: Develop and maintain interactive dashboards that provide clear, actionable performance evaluations for both internal stakeholders and clients.
- Optimization: Leverage your familiarity with various media platforms to provide initial optimization recommendations.
- Technical Stewardship: Serve as the go-to expert for our data stack (Improvado, Snowflake, Tableau), troubleshooting and managing our systems to ensure peak performance.
Qualifications
What You Will Need
- Education: MS in Math, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, Psychology, or a related quantitative field is preferred.
- Experience: 3–5 years of experience working with marketing and web analytics data.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Expertise in SQL, Python, R, Excel, and Google Sheets.
- Strong experience with Tableau and database administration/querying (Snowflake).
- Hands-on experience with Improvado, Google Analytics, Meta for Business, Google Ads/SA360, and Campaign Manager 360.
- Data Mastery: Proven ability to cleanse, merge, transpose, and pivot complex, messy datasets.
- Soft Skills: A curious, creative mindset with strong logical thinking and a proactive, self-motivated approach.
- Communication: Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to represent our department and agency professionally.

- This is a W2 contract position.
- Note: You must be willing to work PST hours; this is a non-negotiable requirement for this role.
