We are looking for a responsible and organized Dispatcher to join our operations team on a night shift schedule from 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM EST. The Dispatcher will coordinate daily freight movements, communicate with drivers and customers, and ensure on-time and efficient delivery while maintaining high service standards.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, schedule, and dispatch drivers according to customer requirements and service priorities
Monitor active shipments and proactively resolve delays or issues
Maintain constant communication with drivers via phone, ELD, and tracking tools
Provide real-time updates to customers and internal teams
Negotiate and book loads when required
Ensure compliance with DOT, HOS, and company safety policies
Accurately enter and update data in TMS
Handle after-hours emergencies and problem solving
Build strong relationships with drivers, brokers, and customers
Working conditions:
Working schedule: Monday - Friday 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM EST

Requirements
Previous experience as a dispatcher in trucking/logistics (preferred)
Strong English communication skills (verbal and written)
Ability to work independently during night hours
Excellent multitasking and decision-making skills
Knowledge of US geography, HOS, and transportation regulations
Experience with TMS/ELD systems is a plus
Stress-resistant and solution-oriented mindset
Reliable internet connection and workspace (for remote role)
