We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator / Freight Brokerage Assistant, who can assist our team with daily operations, customer communication, and load management.
Responsibilities:
Communicate with carriers and drivers regarding load updates, pickup and delivery appointments, and ETAs.
Track and trace shipments throughout transit.
Assist with carrier sourcing, negotiating rates, and booking loads.
Provide customers with timely updates and resolve any transportation issues.
Manage emails, update our TMS, and maintain accurate shipment records.
Assist with general freight brokerage operations as needed.
Requirements
Previous experience working with a U.S.-based freight brokerage or trucking company is strongly preferred.
Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
Familiarity with DAT, and transportation management systems is a plus.
Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Working conditions:
Working schedule: Monday - Friday 8-5 CST
