The Role
We are seeking an experienced MEP Design Engineer to join our international design team. The successful candidate will take ownership of the analysis, development, and design of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems, primarily for residential and commercial facilities. A key component of this role is the ability to integrate and collaborate seamlessly with colleagues from diverse cultural backgrounds in a stimulating, global environment.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Energy Engineering, or a Technical High School Diploma with a structural specialization in Thermal/Mechanical Engineering (Perito Termotecnico).
- Experience: 4 to 7 years of proven experience in MEP design, acquired within engineering consulting firms or design studios, with a strong portfolio of residential and commercial projects.
- Technical & IT Skills:Strong proficiency in 3D BIM methodology and software (e.g., Revit or similar) for project modeling and lifecycle management. Solid command of AutoCAD (at least 2D) for drafting, layout generation, and detailing
- Language: Business-level fluency in English is absolutely mandatory. The candidate must be fully comfortable communicating daily (both written and verbal) within an international team and handling technical documentation in English.
- Previous experience or extended knowledge in designing complex MEP systems for the Healthcare sector or Industrial environments will be considered a significant advantage
Key Responsibilities
- Design, sizing, and calculation of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Design and sizing of ductwork for air distribution and ventilation systems.
- Develop comprehensive 3D MEP models using BIM software and produce 2D layout drawings, schematics, and construction details.
- Ensure clash-free integration of MEP systems with other project disciplines (architectural and structural) while working closely with the global team.
- Ensure all designs comply with relevant industry standards, building codes, and rigorous quality assurance protocols.
- Prepare technical reports, specifications, and Bill of Quantities (BoQ) for MEP works.
€41,000 - €52,000 a year

⌛️Flex Time: You can decide when to work from 6 am to 10 pm. We have a Core Time from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm in which presence is required (WFH/office), and the rest of the day is up to you!
