We work with industry leaders, such as Morgan Stanley, Uber, Amgen, and other Fortune 500 companies, to improve access to effective, high-quality mental health care for their employees and their families. With our innovative digital care platform and global provider network, nearly 20 million people can receive the best care and feel better, faster. Founded by David Ebersman, former CFO of Facebook and Genentech, Lyra has raised more than $900 million.

About the Role

Your North Star: Lead a team to execute our strategy for building and sustaining robust partnerships with healthcare benefit brokers and consultants.

This role is crucial for amplifying Lyra’s market visibility, driving growth, and increasing revenue through these essential channels. Your ability in fostering and cultivating resilient, mutually advantageous relationships will be vital to propelling Lyra’s ambitious growth and impact aspirations.

This role can be carried out from our Burlingame, CA headquarters, hybrid, or fully remote/virtually. Remote candidates must be physically located within the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Partnership Development: Design and execute a partnership strategy to expand market reach, build and formalize relationships with key healthcare consultants and brokers, and align efforts with organizational growth goals.

  • Insights and Market Analysis: Lead the collection and distribution of industry trends and market dynamics, providing valuable insights to inform product, sales, finance and marketing strategies while optimizing partnership performance.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Aptitude to solicit, analyze, and share feedback from partners with internal stakeholders (sales, marketing, customer success, legal, finance) to make necessary adjustments in strategy, approach and execution; be an active and informed voice communicating solution needs, gaps and opportunities to our internal teams.
  • Performance Metrics and Reporting: Through thoughtful and data-driven leadership of your team, define KPIs, track outcomes, review pipelines and provide senior leadership with regular updates, using data-driven insights to refine and improve strategies for your team.

Qualifications

  • 15+ years of experience in the healthcare benefits industry.
  • 5+ years of demonstrated ability to build deep trusted relationships with key stakeholders at designated national, local and regional consultant and brokerage offices (e.g. Aon, WTW, Mercer)
  • 5+ years managing high performing teams
  • Exceptional relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of an organization.
  • Experience developing and executing a benefit consultant/broker strategy, internally and externally
  • Strong presentation skills, including the ability to articulate product vision and establish credibility with stakeholders.
  • Experience in leading in a high growth, fast changing environment
