Quandela is a European scale up that provides photonic quantum computers that are modular, scalable, energy-efficient and accessible both on the cloud and on premise.
Our team of 140 employees specialises in the development of both software and hardware solutions for a variety of quantum applications. We offer a wide range of services, from developing the most efficient and brightest single photons sources, to creating algorithms for quantum computers and providing cloud quantum computing solutions.
Quandela plays a pivotal role as a strategic partner in the quantum transformation of industrial sectors such as energy, finance, pharmaceuticals, and transportation. Furthermore, we are esteemed collaborators within the academic and research community.

As Head of Marketing at Quandela, you will report directly to the Chief Growth Officer and play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between our product teams, communication teams, and sales teams. You will work closely with the product department to ensure marketing strategies align with product development and roadmaps.
Additionally, you will collaborate extensively with the head of corporate communication to maintain brand consistency and maximize communication impact across all channels. You will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies that effectively communicate our quantum computing solutions to target markets, drive brand awareness, and support revenue growth objectives.
Your technical background combined with marketing expertise will enable you to translate complex quantum technologies into compelling value propositions that resonate with diverse stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with company objectives and product roadmaps
Cross-functional Collaboration: Serve as the critical link between product development, communications, and sales teams to ensure consistent messaging and go-to-market strategies
Product Marketing: Work directly with the product department to translate technical specifications of our quantum products into clear value propositions for different industry segments
Content Strategy: Collaborate with the head of corporate communication, research team, quantum applications teams and products teams to direct the creation of high-quality technical marketing materials, white papers, case studies, and digital content that effectively communicate our quantum computing solutions
Market Analysis: Lead research initiatives to identify market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs in the quantum computing space
Brand Development: Partner with corporate communication to enhance Quandela’s position as a thought leader in quantum computing through strategic communication initiatives and to formalize a global communication platform
Event Management: Oversee participation in industry conferences, technical exhibitions, and corporate events to showcase our quantum technology leadership
Channel Marketing: Develop strategies for partner ecosystem growth and enablement
Performance Measurement: Implement metrics and analytics to measure marketing effectiveness and ROI
Reporting: Provide regular updates to the Chief Growth Officer on marketing performance, strategy implementation, and market insights
T eam management: responsible for building and scaling a well-structured marketing team composed of both permanent staff (junior and senior profiles) and external partners (freelancers). Define resource needs, recruit the right talent, coordinate collaboration between internal and external contributors, and ensure a cohesive team dynamic aligned with the company’s strategic objectives.
Required
Engineering degree (preferably in Physics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field)
Minimum 8+ years of progressive marketing experience, with at least 2 years in leadership roles
Proven experience in technology marketing, particularly in deep tech, high-performance computing or cloud computing, or related fields
Demonstrated success in developing and executing strategic marketing plans for complex technical products
Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into compelling messaging
Strong project management skills with experience leading cross-functional teams
Data-driven approach to marketing with experience in AI project management, analytics and performance measurement
Led a successful initiative to embed AI into marketing operations: launching AI-powered campaigns, automating workflows, or driving smarter targeting through machine learning. Ability to turn innovation into results, and ready to bring that mindset to our next stage of growth.

Knowledge of B2B marketing in enterprise technology environments
Understanding of scientific and research communities’ needs and communication preferences
International marketing experience
