The Sandbox VR People Team is comprised of three major functional areas, People Ops & Systems, Centers of Excellence, and our Business Partners. You’ll be a part of our Business Partner function, serving as a vital liaison between the People Team and the business, playing a role that is pivotal in supporting our people and driving business outcomes.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Gain a strong understanding of SBVR’s Retail business and develop strong relationships, collaborating with key partners and stakeholders across the Retail org
  • Convert thematic insights into practical, tactical initiatives that enhance our organizational structure and talent strategy
  • Actively execute and make informed decisions within established policies, enhancing employee experience by creating solutions within existing frameworks
  • Coach teams towards effective decision-making and enhance communication skills across levels
  • Proactively mitigate legal and compliance risks, investigating and addressing employee relations concerns effectively
  • Provide direct support to Store Managers and District Leaders, enhancing their performance and addressing their concerns throughout their tenure at SBVR
  • Conduct stay and exit interviews for store leadership, analyze trends, and recommend actionable solutions based on findings
  • In partnership with the People Team’s centers of expertise, lead and design specialized training programs where your expertise adds significant valueAssist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of HR policies and procedures as needed

What We Are Looking For:

  • Strong Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Confidence and Resilience: Managing unprecedented or challenging situations with a proactive approach to finding solutions
  • People First Leadership: A strong passion for supporting people and leading with a people-first mindset
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • SHRM-CP or PHR a plus
  • Must be available to work standard west coast business hours
