Overview:
The Product Specialist will play a key role in contributing to the success of Precisely’s SaaS product offerings. This role necessitates extensive collaboration across various internal teams, including product development, engineering, documentation, and go-to-market divisions. As a Product Specialist, you will be responsible for documenting feedback from design partners and ensuring that it is accurately communicated within the organization. You will play a crucial role in enhancing internal understanding of the product through your contributions to enablement and demonstration assets. The ideal candidate will have experience in driving cross-functional product success.
What you will do:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with design partners to gather, document, and communicate meaningful feedback.
- Document real-world use cases and collaborate with internal teams to improve product usability and quality.
- Partner with sales engineering to support product demos and ensure accurate representation of our newest product functionality.
- Contribute to internal enablement by creating and maintaining demonstration assets, training materials, and product walkthroughs.
- Help ensure the product delivers a seamless and intuitive user experience by collaborating with UX/UI & User Assistance teams and contribute to design validation.
- Ensure visibility into how partner insights influence product development decisions.
- Support the creation of resources that clearly explain product capabilities and workflows.
- Act as a liaison between internal stakeholders to ensure timely communication and alignment on product goals and deliverables.
- Support product quality efforts by identifying issues, validating fixes, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field. Equivalent work experience will be accepted in place of a formal degree.
- 3–5 years of experience in product, sales engineering, consulting roles, or customer facing roles in SaaS environments focused on data management, quality, or governance.
- At least 2 years of experience collaborating cross-functionally with product, engineering, and go-to-market teams.
- At least 2 years of experience supporting product enablement or sales engineering efforts.
- Experience gathering and documenting user feedback and translating it into actionable insights.
- Familiarity with SaaS platforms and cloud-based product ecosystems.
- Proficiency with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Figma, or similar for product documentation and collaboration.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):
- Experience working with data management, data quality, or data governance tools.
- Exposure to customer-facing roles or participation in design partner programs.
- Strong understanding of data analytics technologies and market dynamics.
- Proficiency in conducting product demonstrations and supporting sales enablement activities.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies and iterative product delivery.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable strategies.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to diverse audiences.
- Customer-focused with a passion for delivering high-quality, intuitive products.
- Innovative thinker who can anticipate market needs and contribute to product evolution.
