Role: Sales Manager

Work Arrangement: Fully remote, overlapping US working hours

Job Type: Independent Contractor, Full-time

Work Schedule: 40 hours per week

About the Company:

Fast-scaling telecom company that partners directly with major internet providers to acquire exclusive service contracts for multi-unit buildings. They handle everything, from activating service to billing customers, so providers donโ€™t have to.

Role Overview:

As Sales Manager, youโ€™ll help launch and scale the team from scratchโ€”selling alongside reps, defining playbooks, and implementing systems. This is a hands-on, zero-to-one role for someone who thrives in startup mode and has a proven background in high-frequency sales.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Act as a player-coach: make calls, close deals, and lead by example.

  • Develop scripts, processes, and metrics to optimize team performance.

  • Train and ramp a growing sales team over the next 6โ€“12 months.

  • Select and implement sales tech (dialers, CRMs, call analytics).

  • Host coaching sessions, performance reviews, and daily huddles to drive accountability.

  • Work closely with leadership to set and iterate on goals, KPIs, and compensation plans.

  • 3โ€“5+ years in high-volume, short-cycle sales.

  • At least 1โ€“2 years in a leadership or coaching role.

  • Hands-on experience building or optimizing an inside sales team from scratch.

  • Calm, team-oriented, able to work well in high-pressure situations.

  • Proven ability to coach reps, drive results, and foster a winning team culture.

  • Tools-savvy: familiarity with CRMs, dialers, and reporting platforms.

  • Remote Work: Fully remote, work from anywhere.
