We are seeking a Senior Director of Product Marketing responsible for market and competitive analysis, product positioning, messaging, go-to-market strategy, and market engagement for our healthcare technology solutions. This high-impact role will define how our AI-driven, data, intelligence, and advance analytics innovations are brought to market—turning complex technology into compelling value for our customers.
You will collaborate across Marketing, Product, Sales, and Technology to ensure our voice in the market is clear, customer-centric, and differentiated. Your leadership will drive alignment across teams, inform market strategy, support growth, and shape product adoption in a rapidly evolving healthcare ecosystem.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Product Positioning & Messaging: Develop differentiated messaging and value propositions across our portfolio, including AI-driven analytics, healthcare data platforms, and interoperability solutions.
- Go-to-Market Leadership: Participate as a key member in the development of GTM strategy and execution for new product launches, market expansions, and strategic campaigns. Align cross-functional teams around a unified vision and execution plan.
- Voice of Customer, Competitor & Market Insights/Expertise: Facilitate customer advisory boards and VOC interviews/interactions to shape product marketing strategy and positioning. Leverage insights from clients, analysts, media and other relevant sources to track the market and competitive landscape, maintain battlecards and capture win/loss data. You will be expect to be a subject matter expert capable of educating others in the business about our markets and solutions.
- Analyst Relations & Thought Leadership: Own the relationship with and facilitate the company’s products and strategy with key industry analysts (e.g. Gartner, KLAS, IDC, Frost & Sullivan, Forrester). Partner with internal teams to amplify recognition in rankings, awards, and research reports.
- Sales Enablement & Field Readiness: Develop compelling sales tools, training, and messaging for field teams. Deliver enablement materials that communicate product value clearly to buyers and influencers.
- Campaign & Demand Strategy Support: Partner with Demand Gen and Corporate Marketing to support multi-channel campaigns, content strategy, and segmentation tactics aligned to business objectives.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product Management, Technology, Sales, Clinical, and Commercial teams to shape market strategy, roadmap alignment, packaging, pricing, and positioning and overall GTM strategy and tactics.
- Market Strategy & Segmentation: Partner with Sales and Product teams to assess market opportunities, including TAM, SAM, and SOM analysis. Support segmentation strategy, define ideal client profiles (ICP), and develop detailed buyer personas to drive targeted marketing and sales efforts.
Required Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field required. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Experience:
- 10+ years in B2B product marketing, with at least 5 in healthcare technology (health plans, providers, or health tech vendors).
- Proven expertise in SaaS and Cloud software, data management software, analytics, and/or digital health platforms.
- Demonstrated success launching products, leading GTM strategy, and supporting direct outside sales organizations.
Skills & Capabilities:
- Deep understanding of healthcare operations, IT, IS and financial functions, regulatory trends, payer/provider dynamics, and emerging technologies.
- Human-centric benefit mindset and experience in translating user research into product messaging.
- Strong storytelling and content development capabilities.
- Experience working with Salesforce, Pardot, Highspot, or similar martech stacks.
- Comfortable operating both strategically and tactically, often simultaneously as well as demonstrated experience interacting with C-level executives.
- Experience managing analyst relationships and incorporating research insights into messaging and planning.
- Pragmatic Institute or similar product marketing certification highly desired.
Additional Information:
MedeAnalytics believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is $215,000 - $245,000 USD + 15% bonus opportunity. Please note that actual compensation for all roles may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, relevant work experience, professional achievements/qualifications, skill level, business need, location and will be finalized at the time of offer.
