Job Description

Our client is a leading global agricultural company specializing in plant breeding and seed solutions, dedicated to innovation, sustainability, and digital transformation. With over 165 years of experience, it operates in more than 70 countries, supporting farmers with high-yielding, resilient crop varieties and cutting-edge technologies.

Responsibilities

Explore Market Context -> You will conduct market and competition analysis, understand industry-specific needs, and clarify assumptions during client interactions.

Understand Business Landscape -> You will analyze the client’s current state and define the future product environment through workshops, stakeholder interviews and other techniques.

Bridge Discovery and Delivery -> You will connect business insights with delivery processes, ensuring alignment with the business domain and goals.

Streamline Requirements -> You will document and clarify requirements (functional, non-functional and technical), define and document business processes, workflows, and system requirements.

Drive Roadmap Execution -> You will define the product roadmap, aligning priorities with business objectives and stakeholder expectations.

Validate and Adapt Scope -> You will analyze requests, assess impact, and ensure alignment with project delivery and commercial viability.

Champion User-Centric Design-> You will define user personas, conduct interviews, map user journeys, and prioritize based on user value.

Facilitate Collaboration -> You will lead workshops, document outcomes, and foster alignment between stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle.

Tool Assessment & Optimization-> Evaluate and enhance the efficiency, usability, and business impact of digital tools by analyzing current capabilities, identifying areas for improvement, and recommending strategic optimizations to align with business needs.

Support decision-making -> Provide clear, data-driven recommendations to support strategic investment decisions.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Strong ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment
  • Proven analytical and consultancy skills applied in complex environments
  • Comfortable working with both ‘traditional’ /Waterfall and Agile methodologies
  • Ability to work independently, proactively managing deliverables and timelines.
  • Spoken and written fluency in English

Nice to have

  • German language proficiency
  • Technical background in IT systems or software development
  • Agriculture background or knowledge (studies)
