RESPONSIBILITIES:

I. Social Media Marketing & Management

  • Develop and execute a content strategy to grow Instagram following and engagement
  • Design branded, visually engaging content that aligns with the studio’s voice and mission
  • Schedule and manage posts, stories, and reels
  • Respond to comments and DMs to build community
  • Analyze engagement and adjust strategies accordingly
  • Collaborate with internal staff via Slack to collect content and updates
  • Use SEO-driven captions, hashtags, and bio optimization to increase visibility
  • Suggest trending reel formats or industry-relevant social ideas
  • Maintain a content calendar across platforms
  • Organize and archive photo/video assets for future use
  • eBook development
  • Graphic Design

II. Email, Text & Campaign Marketing

  • Create and send email and text campaigns using MindBody and Index
  • Support promotional efforts, seasonal campaigns, and event launches
  • Aid in developing lead generation funnels and follow-up sequences
  • Ensure brand consistency across platforms and messages
  • Maintain follow-up workflows (e.g., post-intro sequences)
  • Plan and assist with instructor features, workshops, or member highlights
  • Track and report on campaign performance and suggest areas for improvement
  • Blog/Newsletter Development

APPLICATION SOFTWARE KNOWLEDGEABLE/REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Journalism, English, or similar field
  • At least 3 years of experience working as a content manager
  • Proven managerial skills and experience
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills (particularly technical writing expertise)
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • A knack for creativity
  • Experience using popular content management systems and analytics tools (Ahrefs, WordPress, and Google Search Console are a few examples)
  • A strong grasp of UX and SEO best practices
  • Some knowledge of web design, including HTML and CSS
  • Basic graphic design skills
