Title: SBE-CPT-10044 B2B Cold Caller & Appointment Setter

Independent Contractor – Business Support VA/Entry-Junior Level (Remote).

Overview

20four7VA is seeking offshore independent contractors to deliver remote services to clients worldwide, with a primary focus on developed markets such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia.

We are seeking a motivated and confident Business Support VA to perform cold calling, outbound appointment setting, and basic B2B lead generation.

The VA will use provided scripts and training to contact business owners, qualify interest, gather essential information, and schedule appointments onto the client’s calendar.

When call volume is low or lists are exhausted, the VA will also be responsible for sourcing new B2B leads using approved platforms and strategies.

This is a results-driven role best suited for someone who is consistent, organized, and eager to prove value quickly.

The objective of each engagement is to assist the client in improving business efficiency, enhancing service delivery, or supporting operational functions through high-quality, task-specific services rendered by a qualified contractor.

Scope of Services

Contractors will be required to provide services that align with the following client tasks:

  • Outbound Cold Calling & Appointment Setting
    • Make high-volume outbound B2B cold calls to business owners and decision-makers.
    • Follow client-provided scripts, training decks, and cadence guidelines.
    • Confirm key details (name, business, contact info, address, appointment time).
    • Book appointments onto the calendar via email or scheduling tools.
    • Handle objections with confidence and professionalism.
  • B2B Lead Generation & List Refreshing
    • Use client-provided lead lists to perform outreach.
    • When needed, source additional leads independently through approved research methods.
    • Add new leads into tracking sheets or CRM and maintain accurate records.
    • Identify potential decision-makers and gather accurate business contact information.
  • CRM / Pipeline Updates
    • Update lead statuses and notes after each call.
    • Organize call attempts, follow-ups, and scheduled appointments.
    • Keep records consistent so the client can easily see progress.
  • Reporting & Performance Tracking
    • Provide daily or weekly call summaries (contacts made, appointments booked, outcomes).
    • Notify the client of trends in objections, lead quality, or appointment conversions.
    • Implement feedback quickly and adapt to the client’s evolving needs.

Each engagement is based on a defined scope of work and is governed by an independent contractor agreement. Services must be performed professionally, with adherence to any timelines, guidelines, and deliverables agreed upon in writing.

Skills

The Contractor must demonstrate proficiency in the following, depending on the Client’s requirements:

  • Experience in cold calling, telemarketing, or appointment setting (required).
  • B2B calling experience strongly preferred.
  • Excellent spoken English; strong communication and objection-handling skills.
  • Familiarity with lead generation tools, Google Sheets, and basic CRM usage.
  • Confident, persistent, and comfortable making many calls per shift.
  • Highly coachable and willing to undergo the client’s sales training.
  • Organized and consistent with follow-ups and reporting.
  • Motivated by results; must be able to show ROI quickly.
  • Level A–B (native or near-native accent)

Work Schedule

  • Contracted Hours per Week: 20 Hours
  • Scheduled Working Days: Tuesday through Thursday
  • Daily Working Time: 9 AM 4 PM CST

Note: The Company will make reasonable efforts to align the Assigned VA’s schedule with the Client’s preferred hours as set forth above. However, availability may vary based on time zones, capacity, and the contracted hours set in this SOW. Any changes must be mutually agreed to in writing through a revised SOW.

Terms of Engagement

  • Contractors will operate under a Master Services Agreement and a Statement of Work
  • This is not an offer of employment; contractors are not employees of 20four7VA or any client
  • All compensation is processed through 20four7VA according to the terms of the engagement
