CPT-10761 Business Development & Administrative Support VA – [Business Support VA /Entry - Junior Level] (Remote)

Overview

20four7VA is seeking offshore independent contractors to deliver remote services to clients worldwide, with a primary focus on developed markets such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia.

We are looking for a detail-oriented Virtual Assistant (VA) who can provide administrative support and assist with business development activities. The role involves managing outreach, organizing lead data, supporting follow-ups, and maintaining accurate CRM records while ensuring smooth day-to-day operational support.

This is an entry to mid-level support role focused on lead generation, outreach coordination, client communication, and administrative organization.

The objective of each engagement is to assist the client in improving business efficiency, enhancing service delivery, or supporting operational functions through high-quality, task-specific services rendered by a qualified contractor.

Scope of Services

Contractors will be required to provide services that align with the following client tasks:

Business Development & Lead Generation

  • Research and identify potential leads that match the company’s ideal client profile.
  • Conduct outreach through email, LinkedIn, and other communication platforms using approved messaging templates.
  • Engage prospects in initial conversations and qualify interest before handing off to the sales team.
  • Assist with cold outreach campaigns and follow-up sequences.
  • Schedule meetings and appointments for the sales team when prospects express interest.

Outreach & Client Communication

  • Conduct timely and consistent follow-ups with prospective clients through email, LinkedIn, and other platforms.
  • Maintain professional communication with leads and provide relevant information when needed.
  • Build and nurture relationships with potential clients and business partners.
  • Respond to inbound inquiries and coordinate with the sales team for next steps.

CRM & Data Management

  • Maintain and update CRM systems with accurate lead and communication data.
  • Track outreach activities, follow-ups, and engagement progress.
  • Organize and maintain lead lists, prospect databases, and sales trackers.
  • Ensure message history and client interactions are properly logged.

Administrative & Operational Support

  • Assist with calendar scheduling and meeting coordination.
  • Organize sales documentation and maintain clear communication records.
  • Maintain spreadsheets, trackers, and internal records.
  • Provide general administrative support to ensure smooth sales and outreach operations.

Reporting & Task Tracking

  • Provide daily or regular updates on completed outreach, scheduled meetings, and lead engagement.
  • Track progress of outreach campaigns and report results.
  • Flag issues, system gaps, or process improvements when identified.

Each engagement is based on a defined scope of work and is governed by an independent contractor agreement. Services must be performed professionally, with adherence to any timelines, guidelines, and deliverables agreed upon in writing.

Skills

The Contractor must demonstrate proficiency in the following, depending on the Client’s requirements:

  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • High attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and proactively
  • Positive attitude with strong interpersonal skills

Preferred Experience

  • Experience with lead generation, outreach, or sales support
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn outreach and email campaigns
  • Experience working with CRM systems and sales trackers
  • Experience supporting business development or marketing teams

Tools & Platforms

  • CRM systems (Attio, Apollo, or similar)
  • LinkedIn / LinkedIn Sales Navigator
  • Google Workspace (Gmail, Google Sheets, Calendar)
  • Missive
  • Slack
  • Asana
  • Clay
  • AI tools such as GPT or Google Gemini

Work Schedule

  • Contracted Hours per Week: 40 Hours
  • Scheduled Working Days: Monday through Friday
  • Daily Working Time: Flexible, EST

Note: The Company will make reasonable efforts to align the Assigned VA’s schedule with the Client’s preferred hours as set forth above. However, availability may vary based on time zones, capacity, and the contracted hours set in this SOW. Any changes must be mutually agreed to in writing through a revised SOW.

Terms of Engagement

  • Contractors will operate under a Master Services Agreement and a Statement of Work
  • This is not an offer of employment; contractors are not employees of 20four7VA or any client
  • All compensation is processed through 20four7VA according to the terms of the engagement
