CPT-10709 Business Development Representative (Outbound Prospecting)– [Business Support VA/Junior - Advanced Level] (Remote).

Overview

20four7VA is seeking offshore independent contractors to deliver remote services to clients worldwide, with a primary focus on developed markets such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia.

Client is a construction technology startup focused on improving the construction permitting process through automation and software.

The company is seeking a Business Development Representative Virtual Assistant to support outbound sales efforts by executing prospecting campaigns and generating qualified meetings for the internal sales team.

This role focuses on consistent outbound activity, including cold calls, email outreach, LinkedIn messaging, and follow-up sequences. The BDR will work closely with the VP of Sales to execute outreach campaigns, maintain CRM records, and help build new pipeline opportunities.

While the company encourages creativity and experimentation in sales outreach, the primary focus of this role will be executing outbound prospecting activities, maintaining organized outreach processes, and generating meetings for the sales team.

The objective of each engagement is to assist the client in improving business efficiency, enhancing service delivery, or supporting operational functions through high-quality, task-specific services rendered by a qualified contractor.

Scope of Services

Contractors will be required to provide services that align with the following client tasks:

  • Outbound Prospecting

    • Conduct outbound prospecting through cold calls, email outreach, and LinkedIn messaging.
    • Reach out to contractors and construction professionals to introduce the company’s platform.
    • Follow structured outreach cadences and maintain consistent prospect follow-up.
    • Schedule meetings or demos for the internal sales team when qualified prospects express interest.
  • Lead List Research & CRM Management

    • Build and maintain lead lists based on guidance from the VP of Sales.
    • Research companies, contacts, and decision-makers within target markets.
    • Maintain accurate records in the CRM including call notes, outreach attempts, and lead status updates.
  • Sales Campaign Execution

    • Execute outbound email campaigns and messaging sequences.
    • Support testing of outreach messaging and cadences.
    • Provide feedback on prospect responses and common objections.
  • Meeting Coordination

    • Schedule discovery calls or demos between prospects and the sales team.
    • Send follow-up information or resources to prospects when appropriate.
    • Maintain organized calendars and meeting records.
  • Process Support

    • Assist in maintaining outreach workflows and documentation within the sales process.
    • Follow the company’s sales playbook and outreach guidelines as they evolve.
    • Collaborate with leadership to improve outreach execution over time.

Each engagement is based on a defined scope of work and is governed by an independent contractor agreement. Services must be performed professionally, with adherence to any timelines, guidelines, and deliverables agreed upon in writing.

Skills

The Contractor must demonstrate proficiency in the following, depending on the Client’s requirements:

  • Experience in cold calling, outbound prospecting, or appointment setting roles.
  • Experience working with CRM platforms such as HubSpot or similar tools.
  • Strong English communication skills (native or near-native English accent required).
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn outreach and email prospecting.
  • Experience in SaaS or construction-related industries is a plus.

IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE:

  • The ideal candidate:
  • Has prior experience with cold outbound calling and prospecting.
  • Is comfortable making high volumes of outreach attempts daily.
  • Is organized and disciplined with CRM updates and follow-up processes.
  • Has strong English communication skills with a professional phone presence.
  • Is comfortable using modern sales tools and CRM systems.
  • Can operate independently once given clear direction.

APPLICATION SOFTWARE KNOWLEDGEABLE / REQUIRED

  • CRM platform (HubSpot preferred)
  • Dialpad VOIP or similar phone systems
  • LinkedIn for outreach
  • Email campaign tools
  • Google Workspace (G Suite)

Work Schedule

  • Contracted Hours per Week: 40 Hours
  • Scheduled Working Days: Monday through Friday
  • Daily Working Time: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST

Note: The Company will make reasonable efforts to align the Assigned VA’s schedule with the Client’s preferred hours as set forth above. However, availability may vary based on time zones, capacity, and the contracted hours set in this SOW. Any changes must be mutually agreed to in writing through a revised SOW.

Terms of Engagement

  • Contractors will operate under a Master Services Agreement and a Statement of Work
  • This is not an offer of employment; contractors are not employees of 20four7VA or any client
  • All compensation is processed through 20four7VA according to the terms of the engagement
