Title: Independent Contractor – CPT-10826 Customer Service & Administrative Virtual Assistant/Senior Level (Remote).
Overview
20four7VA is seeking offshore independent contractors to deliver remote services to clients worldwide, with a primary focus on developed markets such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia.
The client is seeking a highly organized and professional Customer Service & Administrative Virtual Assistant to support the daily operations of a growing service-based business.
This role will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, handling inbound calls, appointment scheduling, lead follow-ups, and general administrative coordination. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator with a strong phone presence, exceptional organization skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks while delivering outstanding customer service.
The VA will also assist with maintaining the company’s online presence by managing reviews, responding to inquiries across lead platforms, and supporting social media engagement.
Scope of Services
Contractors will be required to provide services that align with the following client tasks:
- Call Handling & Customer Communication
Answer inbound customer calls professionally and courteously.
Respond to missed calls promptly and return customer inquiries.
Provide basic service information and address customer questions.
Ensure all interactions reflect a positive and professional brand image.
- Scheduling & Calendar Management
Schedule service appointments and estimates.
Manage and organize the client’s calendar to avoid conflicts.
Confirm, reschedule, and follow up on appointments as needed.
Send reminders to customers prior to scheduled visits.
- Email & Inbox Management
Monitor and manage the business email inbox.
Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
Send follow-up messages, quotes, and appointment updates.
Keep communication organized and properly documented.
- Lead Management & Follow-Ups
Follow up with incoming leads via phone, text, or email.
Track and update lead statuses within the CRM or tracking system.
Assist in improving lead conversion from inquiries to scheduled jobs.
Maintain organized records of customer interactions.
- Online Presence & Lead Platform Management
Manage the company’s Google Business Profile, including responding to reviews and messages.
Monitor and respond to inquiries from platforms such as Angi, Yelp, and other lead generation sites.
Assist with posting and responding to basic interactions on social media accounts.
- Administrative & Operational Support
Perform data entry and maintain CRM records.
Organize customer files, documents, and internal records.
Assist with general administrative tasks that support daily operations.
Help maintain efficient workflows and organized communication.
Each engagement is based on a defined scope of work and is governed by an independent contractor agreement. Services must be performed professionally, with adherence to any timelines, guidelines, and deliverables agreed upon in writing.
Skills
The Contractor must demonstrate proficiency in the following, depending on the Client’s requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in customer service, administrative support, or virtual assistance.
- Strong American or near-native English accent with excellent phone communication skills.
- Excellent written communication and email management abilities.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Comfortable handling inbound calls and customer inquiries.
- Experience with scheduling, calendars, and CRM systems.
- Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently.
APPLICATION SOFTWARE KNOWLEDGE / REQUIRED TOOLS
- Communication: Phone systems, Gmail / Google Workspace
- Scheduling: Google Calendar or similar
- CRM / Lead Tracking: CRM systems or lead tracking spreadsheets
- Online Platforms: Google Business Profile, Angi, Yelp

Work Schedule
- Contracted Hours per Week: 40 Hours
- Scheduled Working Days: Monday through Friday
- Daily Working Time: Within standard business hours (exact hours to be confirmed), PDT
Note: The Company will make reasonable efforts to align the Assigned VA’s schedule with the Client’s preferred hours as set forth above. However, availability may vary based on time zones, capacity, and the contracted hours set in this SOW. Any changes must be mutually agreed to in writing through a revised SOW.
Terms of Engagement
- Contractors will operate under a Master Services Agreement and a Statement of Work
- This is not an offer of employment; contractors are not employees of 20four7VA or any client
- All compensation is processed through 20four7VA according to the terms of the engagement
