Title: CPT-10783 E-commerce Google Ads Specialist

Independent Contractor – CPT-10783 E-commerce Google Ads Specialist/E-Commerce/Senior-Advanced Level (Remote).

Overview

20four7VA is seeking offshore independent contractors to deliver remote services to clients worldwide, with a primary focus on developed markets such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Virtual E-commerce Google Ads Specialist to create, manage, and optimize online advertising campaigns for our e-commerce business. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Google Ads strategy, performance optimization, and conversion tracking specifically for online stores. This role is fully remote, collaborating closely with our team to drive sales and maximize return on ad spend (ROAS).

The objective of each engagement is to assist the client in improving business efficiency, enhancing service delivery, or supporting operational functions through high-quality, task-specific services rendered by a qualified contractor.

Scope of Services

Contractors will be required to provide services that align with the following client tasks:

Campaign Creation & Management

  • Create and manage Google Ads campaigns for E-commerce products.

  • Plan and launch Search, Shopping, Display, and Performance Max campaigns.

  • Structure campaigns with proper ad groups, keywords, and product segmentation.

  • Align campaigns with business goals and E-commerce marketing strategies.

Optimization & Performance Improvement

  • Monitor campaign performance daily or weekly.

  • Optimize bids, keywords, audiences, and placements to increase sales.

  • Improve click-through rate (CTR), conversion rate, and ROAS.

  • Identify underperforming campaigns and implement improvements.

Product Feed & Shopping Ads

  • Manage product listings via Google Merchant Center.

  • Optimize product titles, descriptions, and feed attributes for better ad performance.

  • Create product groups and segment campaigns by product type or category.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Track conversions and campaign performance using Google Analytics.

  • Prepare weekly or monthly performance reports.

  • Analyze campaign data and provide actionable insights to increase revenue.

Testing & Growth

  • Conduct A/B testing for ad creatives and landing pages.

  • Identify opportunities for scaling profitable campaigns.

  • Stay updated on Google Ads strategies and E-commerce trends.

Each engagement is based on a defined scope of work and is governed by an independent contractor agreement. Services must be performed professionally, with adherence to any timelines, guidelines, and deliverables agreed upon in writing.

Skills

The Contractor must demonstrate proficiency in the following, depending on the Client’s requirements:

  • Proven experience managing Google Ads campaigns for E-commerce stores.

  • Strong understanding of:

    • Search Ads

    • Shopping Ads

    • Performance Max campaigns

    • Keyword research

    • Audience targeting

    • Conversion tracking

  • Experience with Google Merchant Center product feeds.

  • Familiarity with ROAS optimization and E-commerce advertising.

  • Ability to analyze data and improve campaign performance.

  • Strong communication and reporting skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience managing ads for Shopify or other E-commerce platforms.

  • Knowledge of conversion tracking and Google Tag Manager.

  • Experience running ads for fashion, retail, or consumer products.

  • Google Ads certification from Google Skillshop.

  • Return on Ad Spend (ROAS)

  • Cost per Conversion (CPA)

  • Click-Through Rate (CTR)

  • Campaign scalability and revenue growth

Work Schedule

  • Contracted Hours per Week: 20 Hours
  • Scheduled Working Days: Monday through Friday
  • Daily Working Time: 10 AM- 2 PM PST

Note: The Company will make reasonable efforts to align the Assigned VA’s schedule with the Client’s preferred hours as set forth above. However, availability may vary based on time zones, capacity, and the contracted hours set in this SOW. Any changes must be mutually agreed to in writing through a revised SOW.

Terms of Engagement

  • Contractors will operate under a Master Services Agreement and a Statement of Work
  • This is not an offer of employment; contractors are not employees of 20four7VA or any client
  • All compensation is processed through 20four7VA according to the terms of the engagement
