What We Are Looking For:
Frisco Mocap is looking for a hardworking, detail orientated Production Coordinator to work closely with our multidisciplinary Motion Capture team to help us deliver amazing high-quality data to our internal and external partners. You will be involved in revamping our current workflows, and pipelines to increase speed and efficiency in all areas of the mocap production. As a Production Coordinator (PC) you have experience nurturing healthy, high functioning relationships with external and internal teams. You are seen by your peers and superiors as a go-to-voice for all things Motion Capture.
This is a hands-on role full of growth and understanding of the day-to-day work of the Frisco Mocap team. This includes learning basic post processing tasks, as well as ingraining yourself in the pre-production process. Will provide hands on training for each of these roles so you will have a better understanding of the work and pipelines.
This position is on-site at our Frisco, TX location, with some hybrid flexibility.
Responsibilities:
- Understand all facets of the Mocap process to help improve efficiency.
- Update and maintain tracking processes to ensure successful deliveries.
- Work with the Mocap Manager to establish budgets and track expenses.
- Continually push visibility of the team’s work and deliverables to other departments.
- Work hand in hand with Casting to book actors for upcoming shoots.
- Develop and enhance relationships with our internal and external teams.
- Assist in the coordination, tracking and approval of licensed tools and tech.
- Track Mocap’s time on each project.
- Understand requirements and critical timelines for each project.
- Work with local Universities to develop mentoring/internship programs.
- Help the team to make sure the stage is stocked (food, cleaning supplies, actor needs, etc.).
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years in game production and experience in game development.
- Be a team player who values working together to accomplish a common goal.
- Be proactive and a self-starter.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Jira (can set up Dashboards, Filters, perform backend updates, etc.).
- Proficient in multimedia and project tools such as Shotgrid, Confluence and Excel.
- Knowledge of basic game development and where Mocap fits into that pipeline.
