About the Job
As a Venture Fellow at Aegis Ventures, you will have a unique opportunity to apply your clinical knowledge and business acumen in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. We are seeking a motivated graduate student with a strong background in consulting, finance, or business to join our team part-time.
You will work closely with our leadership team to conduct due diligence on new investment opportunities, build new companies, and support the growth of our portfolio companies. Venture Fellows are expected to commit a minimum of two semesters, with a weekly time commitment of approximately 15 hours. This role can be remote within the U.S. or based in New York.
What You’ll Do
- Evaluate new investment opportunities through due diligence.
- Help develop and launch new healthcare companies, from initial concept and business model development through company formation.
- Collaborate with Aegis portfolio companies on strategic priorities, including growth, partnerships, fundraising, and new market opportunities.
- Support a range of strategic initiatives across the Aegis platform, including thought leadership, industry events, and ecosystem engagement.
What You’ll Need
- Currently enrolled in a graduate program.
- Previous experience in consulting, investment banking, or business.
- A desire to make a positive impact on patient outcomes.
- Ability to work independently with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and with AI.

Hourly Rate
- $50.00 per hour.
