About AeroVect
Founded in 2020, we develop AI-powered automation solutions for airport logistics.
We develop and deploy the AeroVect Driver™, a self-driving solution for ground support equipment (GSE), for airlines and airports worldwide. This technology is built for aviation, trained on large airside driving datasets, and designed to operate in live production environments.
The AeroVect Driver™ helps reduce operating costs and mitigate labor market volatility. It improves reliability by reducing human variability and maximizing asset uptime, and increases safety by reducing human error and enforcing driving standards.
The system uses proprietary technology that combines 360° perception with real-time data feeds to maintain airside awareness. It has handled tens of thousands of live aircraft crossings.
Our technology stack includes managing and optimizing Ubuntu-based OS images, middleware, and device drivers for a multi-sensor ROS 2 stack. We also design real-time, safety-critical Linux distributions, optimize ROS 2 DDS for low latency, develop kernel modules and drivers, and manage CI/CD pipelines. Our engineers work on localization, mapping, sensor calibration, behavior planning algorithms, and core infrastructure for the autonomy software stack.
We operate five global offices across two continents, with our headquarters in San Francisco. Other office locations include Atlanta, New York City, Toronto, and Frankfurt. Co-founders are Raymond Wang and Eugenio Donati.
