We’re growing fast, and we’re looking for a Sales Solutions Manager to make our most complex deals easier to win.
The role
You’ll be the solutions voice in every customer conversation. You’ll join RFP discovery calls, co-present demos with our Account Executives, own our demo environments and position Apaleo with the credibility that wins deals. You’re customer-facing, commercially driven and obsessed with helping the sales team succeed.
You’ll work closely with Sales, Customer Success, Product and our partner ecosystem, and report to the Head of Sales.
What you’ll be doing
- Help us win the deals that matter most. You’ll join RFP discovery calls, dig into each customer’s infrastructure and needs, and respond to RFPs yourself, with the AE team behind you. In demos, you’ll co-present with our AEs and show Apaleo in the customer’s own business context, never as a feature tour. You’ll back 50 to 60% of our strategic deals with sharp technical positioning, including our app ecosystem, and work with our app partners and consultants so their projects support our commercial strategy.
- Make the whole sales team sharper. You’ll own our demo environments and keep them fresh and impressive. You’ll turn what works into repeatable playbooks for integrations, AI use cases and ROI models, and train our AEs on technical topics and demo best practice, so great deals don’t depend on one person.
- Close the loop with the rest of Apaleo. You’ll bring customer feedback straight to Product and Engineering leadership, work with Customer Success so every handoff feels seamless, and own internal projects that take friction out of how we sell.
What you bring
- Proven experience in pre-sales, sales operations or sales engineering
- Business-level technical knowledge of SaaS, APIs and automation tools
- AI fluency, with hands-on experience of LLMs and workflows
- Project management experience and clear, structured documentation habits
- Confidence explaining integrations and ROI to technical and business buyers
- A customer-first, data-driven mindset and clear communication
- Fluency in German and English
- Hospitality or PMS experience is highly desired, along with knowledge of competing vendors such as Sihot, Opera, Cloudbeds and Mews. If you have it, you’ll hit the ground running and speak our customers’ language from day one.
Bonus points
- Sales ops or revenue ops background
- HubSpot experience
- Ownership of a demo environment or infrastructure
- French language skills
- Experience with workflow automation (n8n preferred) and building internal LLM agents
What success looks like
- Months 1 to 3: you’re onboarded to our product and customers, have co-presented in 3 to 4 meetings and responded to 2 to 3 RFPs
- Months 4 to 6: RFP turnaround is down to 2 to 3 days, the demo environment is optimised and you’ve helped close 1 to 2 complex deals
- Months 7 to 12: you’re the go-to expert for technical buyer questions, have built 5 to 7 playbooks and support 50 to 60% of strategic deals
