Role Overview
The Reporting Analyst is a critical contributor responsible for delivering accurate, timely, and decision-ready reporting across financial and operational performance. This role operates at the intersection of Finance, Operations, and Technology, enabling executive leadership to clearly understand revenue, cost, margin, and productivity drivers.
This individual will own the end-to-end reporting lifecycle—from data sourcing and validation to dashboard design and executive-level storytelling. What You’ll Own
Executive & Management Reporting
- Deliver weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting packages for Executive Leadership, FP&A, and Operations
- Maintain and enhance core KPI dashboards covering revenue, margin, volumes, labor, utilization, churn, and client performance
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency by reconciling results across financial systems, operational platforms, and data warehouses
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning by providing clean, auditable reporting inputs
Analytics & Business Insight
- Translate ambiguous business questions into clear, structured analyses and actionable reporting
- Identify trends, variances, and anomalies, proactively surfacing risks and performance opportunities
- Partner with FP&A and operational leaders to define new metrics and continuously improve insight quality
- Develop scalable data models that support repeatable and self-service analytics
Data Quality, Automation & Scale
- Reduce manual effort by automating reporting through BI tools, scripting, and improved data pipelines
- Improve data integrity through validation rules, controls, documentation, and metric governance
- Own metric definitions, calculation logic, and data lineage to ensure reporting consistency across the organization
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Analytics, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field
- 3–5+ years of experience in reporting, FP&A, business intelligence, or analytics
- Advanced Excel skills (Power Query, Power Pivot, Excel Data Model)
- Strong experience with Power BI, including building data models and dashboards from scratch
- Experience working with large datasets across multiple source systems
- Exceptional attention to detail with a demonstrated ability to reconcile and validate financial and operational data
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in private-equity-backed, high-growth, or services-based organizations
- SQL or other query language experience
- Experience with NetSuite (or similar ERP) reporting
- Involvement in BI or ERP implementations
- Exposure to revenue cycle, healthcare, SaaS, or transaction-based businesses
- FP&A or Finance background with strong understanding of financial statements and profitability drivers
