Our Rental Property Management team in Edmonton is hiring an Accounting Clerk to support a busy rental portfolio.
This role focuses on full‑cycle accounting tasks using established processes and systems. You’ll work closely with an experienced accounting leadership team and collaborate with Property Managers across the province.
What you’ll do
- Handle full‑cycle accounting for rental properties (A/R, A/P, owner payments)
- Process rent, move‑ins/move‑outs, refunds, and management fees
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliations
- Post journal entries and accruals
- Complete weekly cheque runs
- Support budget entry and government reporting
- Follow RECA trust accounting requirements
What we’re looking for
- Some experience in rental or property management accounting
- Basic understanding of full‑cycle accounting (general ledger, subledgers, reports)
- Comfortable using accounting software and Excel
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work through repeatable monthly tasks
- Clear communication skills
