The Account Executive supports the day-to-day coordination and delivery of client work across Global Marketing. They work closely with Client Partnerships colleagues, Project Management, Creative, Strategy and Creative Services / Resource Management to ensure work is set up correctly, progressed efficiently through workflow, and maintained with strong delivery hygiene.
This role is focused on building strong foundations in Client Partnerships craft: clear documentation, accurate client communications, briefing support, approvals routing, quality control, and operational discipline (including time/expense compliance). The Account Executive will be proactive in identifying risks early and escalating appropriately, contributing to a consistent and structured client experience.
What You’ll Do
- Support day-to-day client work delivery: status/actions, meeting minutes, contact reports, follow-ups and dependency chasing
- Support briefing hygiene: gather inputs, draft briefs, ensure objectives/outputs/approvals routes are clear and complete
- Maintain account documentation and workflow hygiene (file/version control, decision logs, tracker updates, approvals tracking)
- Coordinate internal reviews and basic QA checks to ensure deliverables move through workflow accurately
- Track progress and flag risks/issues early; escalate appropriately to SAE/AM/SAM
- Liaise with Client Service/Resource Management and Project Management teams to ensure bookings and schedules reflect agreed priorities
- Support client calls with preparation and follow-up; ensure actions are recorded and progressed
- Support finance hygiene: accurate timesheets/expenses; support invoicing readiness through correct job administration
- Support pitch activity and internal operational initiatives when needed
About You
- Previous experience in account coordination (agency preferred)
- Interest in healthcare/pharma communications
- Excellent communicator
- Collaborative and team oriented
- Organised with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast paced environment
- Strong problem solving skills with an ownership mindset
- Proactive with a keen desire to learn
