Job Description
Wealth Products organisation provides Banks and Wealth Managers with a complete front-to-back wealth technology platform with out-of-the-box integration, offered in SaaS or BPaaS mode. Within Wealth Products organisation, Avaloq Wealth Platform domain is responsible for updating and maintaining a Front office application which handles the functionality needed by the wealth management division of our clients.
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Test Specialist to join our team in Pune, India. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing automated tests to ensure performance testing of software products.
We operate within a multicultural and geographically diverse team and are therefore seeking a new colleague who values effective collaboration with others.
Your key tasks
- Develop and execute automation test cases for complex software applications.
- Design and implement automation tests scripts, debug and define corrective actions.
- Analyse test results, error logs, database tables and provide detailed reports to stakeholders.
- Document and evaluate the result of the testing, investigate testing deficiencies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve software defects.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance overall quality assurance.
- Manage tools for testing, tracking defects, statistics and requirements coverage reporting.
- Maintain test data used within the platform and ensure tests are updated accordingly when functionality is changed.
- Understand overall application landscape.
Qualifications
- 5 or more years of software testing work experience with at least 3 years dedicated to test automation.
- Testing experience for writing test cases, coordination with the support functions, preparing test data, environment etc.
- Experience with one or more general purpose programming languages including but not limited to: Java (Preferred), JavaScript.
- Ability to learn new tools and functional areas.
- Quality-conscious attitude, self-motivated and goal-oriented.
It would be a real bonus if you have:
- Experience with Cypress, Test Master, Tosca, JUnit, Soap UI, Jenkins, GitHub, Docker & Kubernetes.
- Experience of testing in Agile context: (Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, TDD, BDD, API testing).
- Knowledge of programming languages such as PL/SQL.
