Traffic Dispatcher – Container Management
Location: Home-based (with weekly travel to Nottingham office)
Division: Fleet & Facilities, Containers
We’re looking for an experienced Traffic Dispatcher to join our Container Management team. This home-based role is key to ensuring the efficient and cost-effective movement of containers across 72 depots nationwide, with regular collaboration at our Nottingham office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle incoming container requests and schedule timely deliveries.
- Monitor stock across six container distribution centre’s.
- Optimize routing for productivity and cost control, prioritizing internal transport.
- Maintain compliance with Health & Safety and transport regulations.
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong knowledge of container logistics and distribution.
- Excellent organisational and routing skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, for data analysis and reporting.
- Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
