Job Description

About CareerVillage.org

CareerVillage.org is a fast-scaling nonprofit at the intersection of education, equity, and technology. We believe everyone deserves access to high-quality career guidance. That’s why we’ve built Coach, an AI-powered career navigation tool designed to help learners and job-seekers reach their full potential.

We’re looking for a Partner Success Manager to serve as an effective, efficient point of contact for our partners on technical implementations, including the widget, embed, and API versions of Coach. You’ll support partners on their journey to launch Coach on their platforms, refine processes for our technical implementations, and scale the Coach partner count. You’ll design the system that enables our growth to be repeatable, efficient, and data-informed. With your involvement, we’d like to accelerate access to career-readiness tools for all.

About the Role

The Partner Success Manager reports to the Director of Partner Success and oversees partner relationships and implementation workflows, ensuring partners are supported and internal processes run smoothly. This role requires technical fluency, as you will work confidently with AI products, integrations, and technical stakeholders while translating complex functionality into clear, practical guidance. This role has no direct reports.

What you’ll do

1. Partner Support and Engagement

  • Manage a portfolio of partners, building trusted relationships as their main point of contact and proactively guiding them toward meaningful next steps.
  • Implement Partner Success strategies and ensure each partner has a clear plan for achieving their goals.
  • Coordinate renewals and track partner engagement, progress, and satisfaction.
  • Support the creation and distribution of partner-facing resources, newsletters, surveys, and assets.
  • Identify challenges or risks early and work with the team to develop solutions.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in Salesforce and other systems to ensure data integrity and visibility across teams.

2. Operational Effectiveness and Systems Management

  • Execute and refine processes to ensure partner success work is consistent, scalable, and efficient.
  • Use Salesforce and other systems to track partner progress, outcomes, and team activities.
  • Support the development and documentation of workflows, guides, and best practices.
  • Help streamline tasks and remove bottlenecks that slow down partner or internal operations.
  • Monitor key metrics and assist in producing reports to track progress against goals.

3. Cross-Team Collaboration

  • Collaborate closely with Business Development, Marketing, Data, Product, and Community teams to ensure partners receive the proper support at each stage.
  • Surface partner needs, technical issues, and opportunities to the Product team to guide improvements and roadmap planning.
  • Maintain strong communication across teams to ensure alignment, transparency, and timely execution.

Success in This Role Looks Like:

  • Partners feel supported, informed, and equipped to achieve meaningful results with Coach.
  • Processes are dependable, precise, and well-documented.
  • Systems create visibility, helping the team understand progress and opportunities.
  • Partners receive timely, valuable resources that anticipate their needs.
  • Collaboration across teams is aligned and transparent.
  • You’re known for being reliable, solution-oriented, and student-centered.

About You

We know no candidate will meet 100% of the qualifications. We value lived experience and transferable skills as much as formal experience. That said, the strongest candidates will bring:

  • Mission alignment - you care about equity, career mobility, and using technology to drive social impact.
  • Comfort working in fast-moving, dynamic environments, balancing shifting partner needs, technical troubleshooting, and internal coordination without losing sight of long-term goals.
  • Technical fluency: You can demo AI products, discuss and support widget integrations or APIs with technical stakeholders, and translate technical features to stakeholders.
  • Experience with prompt engineering and iterating on prompts for high-quality outputs.
  • Proven ability to interpret data and metrics and turn them into insights and product improvements that drive rewarding adoption and renewals.
  • Proactive attitude in guiding partners to take action, serving as a trusted advisor with high levels of accountability and empathy.
  • Experience leading partner meetings with compelling slides.

Bonus if you:

  • Have experience building partnerships in education, workforce, or tech ecosystems and/or working in the EdTech or workforce development experience.
  • Have experience with Salesforce
