About CDC Foundation
The CDC Foundation helps the CDC save and improve lives by collaborating with various partners to protect health, safety, and security globally. Authorized by Congress, the Foundation mobilizes resources to support CDC’s mission. Since 1995, it has raised over $2 billion and launched more than 1,300 programs addressing health threats like cardiovascular disease, cancer, rotavirus, HIV, COVID-19, and Ebola. The Foundation managed hundreds of programs in the U.S. and over 90 countries last year.
