Civic Nation

We are a nonprofit organization founded in 2015, focused on civic engagement and social justice. We develop and manage national initiatives that strengthen civic culture and participation. We connect individuals, grassroots activists, and various organizations to tackle issues like strengthening democracy, encouraging voter participation, addressing public health, and fighting for gender equity.

Since our founding, we have worked with over 120 million Americans on important issues, mobilized more than 56,000 volunteers, and educated over 100 million Americans about voting. We have also brought together about 2,000 media, corporate, and nonprofit partners, along with 400 celebrity and influencer partners.

We run several national initiatives and campaigns. The ALL IN Campus Democracy Challenge involves over 1,200 colleges and universities to boost student voting rates and nonpartisan civic engagement. It’s On Us creates prevention programs and trains leaders to fight sexual assault, with over 266 campus chapters, including specific programs for Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). Change Collective trains and connects over 100 local changemakers across the country. We The Action mobilizes more than 52,000 volunteer lawyers to support nonprofit social justice efforts. When We All Vote aims to increase election participation and close voting gaps through voter registration, education, and turnout.

We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes 100% employer-paid health, dental, and vision insurance for employees. We also provide generous and flexible paid time off, paid family and medical leave, and access to a 401(k) plan. Employees have the opportunity to work remotely. For temporary or part-time roles, compensation is specified, such as $115.00 per hour for 5 hours per week (up to 20 hours per month) or $36 per hour.
