About the Mission-Driven Organizations (MDO) Business Unit
The Mission-Driven Organizations (MDO) is a focused commercial region within Diligent that provides and supports Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) solutions tailored for the needs of mission-focused organizations such as public sector (federal, state & local government, education), nonprofit/charity, community healthcare and community banking verticals in the North America, Europe/Middle East/Africa, Australia/New Zealand and Latin Americas markets. The MDO organization includes Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success departments, and works closely with the central marketing resource teams (Brand, Digital, Social, Content, Marketing Operations, and Events) to execute campaigns across defined geographies and sectors.
Position Overview
The Field Marketing Contractor is a self-motivated team member, responsible for supporting field marketing events within the Mission Driven Organization (MDO) Region.
The FMC will work closely with the Manager, Field Marketing Team and regional Field Marketing Managers to support the planning and logistics of regional field events.
Key Responsibilities
- Overall events logistics and strategy support, including:
- Support the logistics and execution of Field Marketing events, including third party conferences & trade shows and Diligent-owned events
- Coordinate the inventory selection, and outbound and return shipment for all exhibit materials as directed by the Field Marketing Manager via the vendor’s exhibit management portal, or direct communication with the Exhibit Management vendor’s representative as needed
- Manage all events projects in Wrike project management system, to document all required events-related tasks
- Execute exhibitor services orders including electricity, furnishings, and install/dismantle services as directed by the Field Marketing Manager, ensuring that advance discounts and deadlines are met
- Support Field Marketing Managers in executing and managing contracts with event vendors and service providers
- Work with print and promotional services vendors to create, manage inventory and deliver supporting materials (print brochures, signage and giveaways items as needed) for each event on-time and within budget
- Support the execution of all pre- and post-event marketing communications including email, social and SDR follow up as directed by the Field Marketing Manager
Responsibilities:
1. Events / Logistics
1.1. Wrike projects creation & task tracking
1.2. Scheduling pre- & post-event meetings
1.3. Confirming staffing & staff communication
1.4. All event-related Task/project management, ensuring that deadlines are met
1.5. Completing budget tracking worksheet per event
1.6. Exhibit Services orders (Skyline/Diligent warehouse, event services vendor)
1.7. Global Print (local print needs)
1.8. Giveaways (Creative Solutions)
Required Experience/Skills:
- Currently pursuing or completed a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication or related field
- Familiarity with web publishing and marketing operations systems including Salesforce, Outreach, Marketo, Sanity & Wrike is beneficial but not required
- Ability to work both independently, seek guidance as needed, and work within a global team across time zones
- Good communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Strong planning, organization and project management skills
- Other traits: Curious, critical-thinker, detail-oriented, positive, adaptable, growth mindset, with a strong work ethic and committed to delivering a quality end result
- Able to commute to our Galway office location
