We were founded in 1974 in Melbourne’s east and now provide health and social care services across Australia. Each year, we help over 70,000 people through more than 120 programs from over 50 locations.
We offer services in Mental Health, Primary Health, Child and Family Wellbeing, Aged Care, Disability, and Housing. Our specialties include Community Mental Health Support, Community Inclusions Support, Dental & Children’s Services, Regional Counselling & Youth Services, Health Promotion, Service Development and Bushfire Recovery, Early Childhood Intervention, and Homecare Services.
For example, we provide free reproductive and sexual health care to all ages in Victoria. We also support children’s development (0-8 years) in parts of NSW, ACT, and Queensland. We offer free mental health support to all ages in select areas of Queensland, often with no or low fees. Our youth mental health services support young people aged 12-25 with complex mental health needs through specialist counseling, using methods like CBT, DBT, and ACT. We also run early childhood intervention programs that follow NDIA and NDIS guidelines.
