The Opportunity

Each is a purpose‑led health and community organisation, focused on growing impact through strong partnerships, advocacy, trusted engagement and sustainable commercial outcomes.

This role is about putting strategy into action. Each has a clear strategic direction — and we are now seeking a senior executive who can activate growth, strengthen our revenue pipeline, expand into new markets and opportunities, and ensure our operating model supports sustainable scale.

As Executive Director - Strategic Growth & Engagement, you will join the Executive Team and work closely with the CEO to drive enterprise‑wide growth and long‑term sustainability, while remaining deeply grounded in community impact, relationships and values.

This is a market‑facing, opportunity‑driven role for a leader who brings strong business and commercial acumen, alongside the ability to build trust, influence systems, and lead advocacy and engagement that supports growth.

Lead growth with purpose. Translate strategy into action. Strengthen impact and organisational resilience.

Your leadership will enable Each to reach further — commercially, geographically and systemically — so we can support more people and communities in meaningful and sustainable ways.

This is a role for a leader who wants their work to last. You’ll shape how we grow, how we partner, how we advocate and communicate, and how we make informed decisions that strengthen communities across Australia.

You will

  • Own and lead Each’s enterprise growth and business development agenda, from opportunity identification through to delivery
  • Build and manage a robust, prioritised pipeline across government funding, commissioned services, partnerships, acquisitions and new markets
  • Strengthen and diversify revenue by commercialising operations and developing scalable service models
  • Identify and pursue strategic partnerships, alliances and potential mergers or acquisitions that expand reach while protecting values and reputation
  • Drive growth execution, ensuring opportunities move efficiently from concept to contract to implementation
  • Support financial sustainability through disciplined investment decisions, funding strategy and commercial oversight
  • Lead innovation and pilots, scaling initiatives that demonstrate impact and value
  • Represent Each externally, building trusted relationships with government, funders, partners, sector leaders and communities
  • Provide leadership across communications, engagement and advocacy, ensuring our voice, narrative and stakeholder relationships actively support growth and influence

This role balances commercial discipline with advocacy and engagement, recognising that sustainable growth is built on trust, relationships and reputation.

What you’ll bring

You are a commercially capable, values‑led executive with experience driving growth in complex, purpose‑driven environments.

You will bring:

  • Executive‑level experience leading growth, commercial strategy, business development or enterprise expansion
  • Demonstrated success building and converting revenue or opportunity pipelines
  • Experience commercialising services or operations within complex organisations
  • Strong understanding of funding models, commissioning environments and contract negotiation
  • Confidence leading partnerships, alliances, acquisitions or market expansion
  • The ability to work at pace while bringing people with you
  • Strong financial and data literacy to support sound growth and investment decisions
  • A collaborative leadership style aligned to Each’s purpose, values and commitment to inclusion

Experience in health, community services or not‑for‑profit sectors is highly regarded, as is experience translating commercial capability into social impact.

Why join Each

This is a rare opportunity to shape the next phase of Each’s growth — building on a strong foundation to extend impact through thoughtful expansion, advocacy and commercial strength.

At Each, you’ll be supported to be your best. We provide:

  • Generous NFP salary packaging of up to $18,550 + 12% super
  • Flexible working arrangements to support work and life commitments
  • Executive development and leadership support
  • Five weeks annual leave, with the option to purchase additional leave
  • Diversity & belonging – We value all backgrounds, abilities and identities and are committed to cultural safety
