- Part-time (0.8FTE) ongoing position
- Based at our Head Office in Ringwood on the lands of the Wurundjeri People, with flexible and hybrid working options available.
- $58 - $64ph + 12% Super + Generous salary packaging benefits of up to $18,550
Your role, your impact
As the Health Information Manager, you’ll play a critical leadership role in how health information is governed, protected and used across Each.
You’ll ensure our health information systems, records and data practices meet legislative, privacy and quality standards, enabling safe, ethical and effective care for the communities we serve. Although this role has no direct reports, you will work closely with clinicians, leaders and teams to strengthen data integrity, privacy, digital health systems and information governance, supporting the delivery of high‑quality services.
You’ll also contribute to the Community Health First Data and Evaluation Project, a statewide Victorian initiative improving data quality and evaluation capability across community health organisations.

Key responsibilities
- Lead and govern health information management across the organisation
- Develop, implement and maintain health information policies, procedures and standards
- Monitor and improve clinical documentation and data quality
- Support digital health systems and clinical system changes
- Deliver training and guidance on information governance, privacy and data quality
Who we’re looking for
You’ll succeed in this role if you bring:
- Demonstrated experience in health information management, ideally in community health, primary care or public health
- Strong knowledge of health information legislation, privacy and compliance requirements
- Proven ability to work autonomously and manage risk in complex environments
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience supporting digital health or clinical system implementations and data governance initiatives
- Experience building capability and working across large, multidisciplinary health services
- A Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Management or a related field (highly regarded)

Who you’ll be working with
In this role, you’ll work closely with people across the organisation and beyond, building strong partnerships to support best‑practice health information management.
This is a highly collaborative role, working across disciplines and services to align people, systems and processes - balancing compliance, quality and practicality to support great outcomes for staff and the communities we serve. Reporting to the Governance, Contracts and Compliance Manager, you will collaborate extensively with a wide range of stakeholders, including:
- Clinical and non‑clinical teams across Each
- The Privacy Officer and Quality & Governance teams
- Digital health and system implementation partners
- External sector stakeholders involved in the Community Health First project
