Job Description
We are looking for an Enterprise Architect who will play a key role in shaping the technology direction of Experian Marketing Services. In this role, you will define and evolve enterprise‑level architecture strategies, guide cloud and data design decisions, and support modernization initiatives that enable scalability, security, and long‑term business growth. You will collaborate closely with global engineering, product, and leadership teams to ensure that solutions are reliable, future‑ready, and aligned with organizational goals.
Qualifications
🛠️ Your key responsibilities
- Define, maintain, and evolve the enterprise architecture strategy aligned with business and technology objectives, ensuring a scalable, secure, and interoperable ecosystem.
- Design and guide scalable, secure cloud and data architectures using best practices across cloud platforms, automation, and security to support high‑volume workloads with reliability and performance.
- Lead modernization and cloud migration initiatives, assess legacy systems, define migration strategies, and guide build‑vs‑buy decisions to reduce technical debt and improve operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to shape solution designs, balancing functional and non‑functional requirements to deliver high‑quality solutions aligned with business priorities.
- Mentor engineers and architects, promoting best practices in quality, security, and automation, and fostering consistency in architectural decision‑making across teams.
- Communicate architectural vision, trade‑offs, and recommendations to senior technical and business stakeholders, ensuring alignment and informed decision‑making.
🎯 What we expect from you
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience with enterprise architecture design across application, data, infrastructure, security, and integration domains.
- Hands‑on experience with cloud architecture and migrations (AWS and/or GCP).
- Knowledge of large‑scale data processing and distributed systems.
- Understanding of legacy modernization strategies (rehost, replatform, refactor).
- Familiarity with DevOps automation, security best practices, and non‑functional requirements.
- Ability to influence without direct authority and drive architectural alignment.
- Strong communication skills for both executive and technical audiences.
- Experience working in complex, cross‑functional, and global environments.
- Bonus: Experience in the AdTech ecosystem.
- Advanced English and availability to work hybrid in São Carlos/SP.
⭐ Nice to have
- Advanced degree or certifications in cloud architecture or engineering.
- Experience defining enterprise governance models or architectural frameworks (e.g., TOGAF).
- Exposure to large‑scale, high‑volume, or low‑latency platforms.
- Experience driving automation‑led architectural improvements.
