Job Description
You will involve yourself in testing from the earliest opportunity available in the process. This testing will include both automated and manual processes, including functional and non-functional testing, on all applications. It will continue until you put the software solution on a live environment.
What you’ll do:
- Evaluate application requirements and design documentation.
- Create, schedule and implement both manual and automation functional tests on given features and products.
- Report, research, and validate complex defects.
- Maintain relevant documentation related to the Quality Assurance process aligned with best practices.
- Communicate handling of different sorts of issues, defects, or uncertainties, related with the Software products doing development.
- Maintain processes for software application deliveries and testing.
- Guide and support the fellow colleagues in their daily work, as well share experiences with them.
- Communicate testing progress.
- Track any changes to requirements in the products and modify testing artifacts, to provide a well maintained and seamless testing environment.
Qualifications
What you’ll bring?
- 3 years of professional experience as Automation Engineer.
- Problem-solving mindset.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycles.
- Experience with version control systems.
- Experience with UI and API testing.
- Used test design and techniques.
- Relevant University degree within the software field.
- Excellent written and verbal English.
- Aware of Agile methodologies.
We consider the following skills an advantage:
- Background working with one or more well known testing frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright or similar.
- Experience with:
- Performance testing.
- Security testing.
- Scalability testing.
- Compatibility testing.
- Reliability testing.
- Development experience (JavaScript/TypeScript and .Net).
- Experience with unit testing frameworks.
- Knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
- Experience with Continuous Integration tools.
